Jake Turner lives on a mixed farming enterprise north of Lake Cargelligo, NSW. He is currently in his first year of a Bachelor of Agricultural Business Management at Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga, NSW. Jake’s passion for the beef industry and the Angus breed started at Yanco Agricultural High School where he was actively involved in the cattle showstock team from years 7 to 12. Alongside seven other like-minded people, Jake is stoked to have the opportunity to not only represent Angus Australia at the World Angus Forum, but also Australia’s wider beef industry.

As part of the events for the 2025 Neogen World Angus Forum, a two-day Angus cattle exhibition will be held in Tamworth New South Wales ( The Zoetis AngusEXPO) , allowing Australian Angus cattle breeders to display a representation of their herd to the world!
We encourage members to consider displaying bulls, donor cows or up and coming heifers as part of their stud display at the Australian Equine and Livestock Exhibition (AELEC). This is destined to be the largest gathering or registered Angus cattle ever held in Australia and a chance to showcase your program to the world.
There will be sites with pens for unled cattle to suit all exhibitors of cattle to display their stock to suit their operation and style as well as facilities for a limited number of led cattle also.
Features of the event include displaying your cattle to the entire domestic and international delegation leading to increased trade opportunities with new customers, two sale opportunities including a frozen genetics sale and a physical female sale for exhibitors only as well as pen of 3 head competition.
The Zoetis AngusEXPO can’t be missed! The event will include educational seminars, Australiana social events, an AngusEXPO campdraft , The AngusEXPO BBQ competition, Live Music, A cocktail function, two elite genetics and female sales and much more!

We invite all Angus and Red Angus cattle breeders to display cattle at AELEC for the opportunity of a lifetime and are currently seeking expressions of interest from cattle exhibitors. The Majority of sites are estimated to be approximately 4m x 6m with with the option to take more than one site and have a range of frontage to the public of at least 6m per for most configurations. Final penning requirements will be available at the time entries open in the coming weeks.
