Jake Turner lives on a mixed farming enterprise north of Lake Cargelligo, NSW. He is currently in his first year of a Bachelor of Agricultural Business Management at Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga, NSW. Jake’s passion for the beef industry and the Angus breed started at Yanco Agricultural High School where he was actively involved in the cattle showstock team from years 7 to 12. Alongside seven other like-minded people, Jake is stoked to have the opportunity to not only represent Angus Australia at the World Angus Forum, but also Australia’s wider beef industry.
Book your cattle pens & stalls
The Zoetis AngusEXPO is just around the corner, and bookings for cattle pens and stalls are now open!
This is a prime opportunity to showcase your best livestock at one of the biggest events of the year, set to take place on May 3rd and 4th as part of the 2025 Neogen World Angus Forum, at the Australian Livestock and Events Centre (AELEC), Tamworth NSW.

Types of Livestock
You can showcase animals registered on the HBR, APR, MBR, or Red Angus Register. Whether for sale or display, make sure your livestock is well-prepared for the event environment. This includes making sure they are used to people in close vicinity and all of the expected noise and interactions they will face including having other livestock in close vicinity. Although not a requirement to have cattle led, having cattle quiet and well prepared for the occasion is strongly recommended.
Health Requirements
Ensure your cattle have tested negative for Pestivirus, and be aware of regulations for livestock from specific regions (e.g., fire ant zones). Contact local authorities for specific health requirements. Zoetis will be in contact to arrange complimentary vaccine to support the Immune Ready protocols.
